Suspension Card

I have always wanted to try a Suspension Card, so I thought I would make one for the WOW Swap that I am involved in for Convention. I have to make 150 full cards to swap, and I have to mix it up a bit. I will be using this one, the dry embossing card and the faux metal card, and anything else I can think of in the next two weeks!
Inks: Barely Banana, Regal Rose & Basic Black
Stamp Sets: A Beautiful Thing, Pretty Petals
Accessories: Both Circle Punches, Large Square Punch, Designer Label Punch, Sponges, Black 1/4" Grosgrain and dental floss.

Faux Metal Card

We have a new technique video on our Stampin' Up! website by one of my favorite SU people, Jaron Winder. I was sooo excited, that I just had to try it. Here is my version of faux metal.

Stamp the flower image from Boho Backgrounds in Silver Encore ink onto our Brushed Silver Cardstock. Then add Sterling Silver embossing powder to the wet ink over a Powder Pals tray. Heat with an embossing tool, then punch image with our circle punches and layer with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added the small dots and the edging with our Ziggy Paint Pen. The Thank you image is from the All Holidays set.

Blessings to you!!

Checkbook Cover Mini Photo Album

Okay, ladies, this one is pushing me over the edge. I still have 10 more to make and they take awhile.

I used a checkbook cover to protect the outside of this mini photo album. The measurements are 7-1/4" X 6". I used Sahara Sand, Naturals White, Night of navy and Bashful Blue cardstock. You can't see it, but the sunglasses have Crystal Effects on the lenses. I used the Fun in the Sun stamp set and the matching wheel, a long with Itty Bitty Backgrounds for the "sand" effect. The ink colors are all of the above, plus So Saffron, Whisper White, Versamark and Basic Gray. I added some Hodgepodge Hardware and our Gray Taffeta Ribbon. The whole thing is held together by one brad.
It just needs photos and journaling...
Blessings!!

Christmas Card

It's Christmas in July! I had a hard time making a Christmas card in the middle of summer, but I am in a Holly Jolly Christmas Swap for our annual convention, so here is what I came up with.

Enjoy

Altered Tissue Holder

A very simple project for a convention swap.
I used Regal Rose and Rose Red Cardstock, both Tag Punches, the Word Window Punch for the opening, Rose 5/8" Grosgrain, and Black 1/4" Grosgrain. The Cardstock measures 4-3/4" X 7" with scoring at 2-1/4", 3-1/4", 5-1/2" & 6-1/2". Use Sticky Tape to keep it together and a cute Black Brad to adhere the tag.

God's Blessings to you!!

Pick A Petal Card

I am in a group of demonstrators called SUFriends4ever, and we are having a dinner and swap on the first night of convention. This is the swap I made for that night.
I used the Pick A Petal Classy Brass Template and the If the Halo fits Stamp set. The colors are Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal & Certainly Celery.
Have a great day!!

Here is another convention swap for the end of this month. I used a CD and a binder clip. I covered them both with DSP Paper - Porcelain Prints, added some cardstock, ribbon, and a Pretties Kit flower and pearl.

Enjoy!!

Friendship Tote Bag

Hello Ladies! Welcome to my blog. This is my first post. I thought I would show you a little something I made for my convention swaps. This is a tote bag made with Flower Fusion, Rhinestone Brads and the Enjoy Every Moment stamp set. All of the goodies were made with the Priceless stamp set. Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Regal Rose were the colors of choice this time since they went so well with the Flower Fusion. Hope you like it and enjoy!
